Ware Shoals Library was first established in 1913. The branch was housed in several locations including Katherine Hall, the First Methodist Church and the house that is now the Senior Center. In 1999, the new library was built. The Ware Shoals Community Library is very unique, not only are we a public library, but also a high school library with two circulation systems.

The Ware Shoals Community Library has computers, photocopier/printers and Wi-Fi. The Library offers programs for children, teens, and adults. Program descriptions can be found below.

	The Spring Art Gala Signup Sunday, Janaury 1 - Thursday, April 20 Ware Shoals Branch Library Ware Shoals Community Library is looking for local artists and photographers who would like to display their work at The Spring Art Gala. Whether you are an amateur or professional artist, we invite you to place your work on exhibit at this year’s Art Gala. The Art Gala is not just about paintings. We welcome ALL artists. If you enjoy painting, photography, pottery, quilting, diamond art, or creating one of a kind sculptures, we want to see your work. Contact Melissa Crenshaw at the Ware Shoals Community Library (864) 456-2813 to have your work displayed. Submission Deadline is Thursday, April 20th. Deadline to register and have art on display is Thursday, April 20th. Art will remain on display April 25-28.


	Children's Make and Take Sunday, January 1 - Tuesday, January 31 Ware Shoals Branch Library Pick up a different Take & Make Craft each month. Bring it back completed and receive a special prize from the treasure box, along with your chance to have your photo taken and posted to our library Facebook page. Build a Bear.
	Storytime Adventures Friday, January 6: 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM Ware Shoals Branch Library Our Storytimes are designed to jump-start early literacy skills as well explore new adventures. Come have fun as we explore new books, learn new songs, and take home a awesome craft.
	Racing Stripes Storytime Monday, January 23: 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM Ware Shoals Branch Library Rev up your engines for a afternoon of stories, crafts and racing. Bring your favorite hot wheels to race at the end of the event for a chance to step into the winners circle.
	Lady Mel's Dolly and Me Tea Time Storytime Wednsday, Janaury 25: 4:00 PM - 5:00 AM Ware Shoals Branch Library You and your favorite doll are invited to an afternoon “Tea” at the Ware Shoals Community Library. Enjoy tea, refreshments, story time and other fun activities as we enjoy a Afternoon Tea social. This lovely afternoon is intended for dolls, teddy bears or action figures and their owners, ages 4-12.
