Attention local writers:

Find new readers by contributing your eBooks to the Library through Self-e. With easy online submission, your ebook will be added to an online collection of South Carolina authors where readers all over the state can read your work. This service is free to all indie authors whether you have used another self-publishing service or not. Authors must possess the rights for the works submitted to the collection.

eBooks will be submitted for review by Biblioboard for content and Library Journal for quality. Those works that are selected by Library Journal will be added to the nationwide Library Journal collection. Authors who are chosen by Library Journal can promote their works with a digital badge. Authors not chosen may include their works in the South Carolina collection.

eBooks should be submitted as either a PDF or ePub. Information on creating these file types can be found below in the Local Author’s Resources.
