How to Apply For Vacancies
The Greenwood County Library System requires that all applicants complete an Employment Application. To apply for a vacancy, candidates must complete a job application available from the Greenwood County Library. Cover letters and resumes may be submitted with application.

    • Or pick up a copy of the Employment Application at the Circulation Desk at the Greenwood County Library.
  • Employment Application may be submitted by one of the methods listed below:

    • Hand deliver: Greenwood County Library System, 600 S. Main St. in Uptown Greenwood, Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
 

Important Details to Know
  • Only one application needs to be completed, even if you are applying for more than one vacancy.
  • Your application will remain active on file for 90 days and may be considered for new vacancies during that time.
  • Not all applicants are called for a job interview.
  • Incomplete applications will not be considered. Follow instructions for filling out the written job application completely.
  • A resume may be attached as additional information, but will not be accepted in lieu of work history requested on the application.
  • If submitting application by mail or hand delivery, you must sign and date the application prior to submission.
  • Photocopies of degrees and transcripts must be submitted with the job application when applying for positions with college level education requirements.
  • Reference checks will be conducted prior to a job offer.
