After a general boilerplate definition of biome, each book offers a cursory description of a specific biome, touching on a few of its plants and animals. The simple texts are illustrated with large, clear stock photos, but the final section of additional plants and animals "You Might See" in the biome includes thumbnail photos too small to really inspect.
