Curbside Service
Hours of Service
Curbside Pickup is available during the Library's regular hours of operation and ends one hour before the library closes.
Curbside Pickup is for circulating materials of the library, click HERE to submit a Remote Printing Job for Curbside Pickup.
1. Place Items on Hold
• Place an item on hold by searching the catalog on the website, calling the library, or using the library app.
• To place items on hold on the website, log in to your account with your library card number and pin*.
*Your pin is automatically set to the last four digits of the primary phone number we have on file for you. Call the library at 847-587-0198 if you need your pin reset.
2. Await Notification
• Your holds are now on our pick list!
• You will be notified* when your items are ready.
*If you have an email address on file, an automated email will be sent. Staff also call the number on file to let you know the items are ready. If you have the library mobile app, a notification will also be sent there. You may use the library mobile app to schedule a curbside pickup and let us know you are on your way!
3. Park in a Numbered Curbside Spot
• When you arrive for your curbside pick up, park in a designated curbside spot and stay parked until the delivery is complete. We will not approach a vehicle that is not in park.
• Call us after you arrive and let us know which parking spot you are in, or use the library app.*
* If you do not have a cell phone, you may call ahead to let us know your approximate time of arrival and vehicle type. We'll keep an eye out for you!
