Windstream brings green truck to celebrate wireless access to Española Public Library On Thursday July 22nd, The Española Public Library will host the Windstream Lifetime Tour.  “The Tour will be here to help us celebrate our step up into wireless access” says Teddie Riehl, Library Director. “Thursday is also the end of our Summer Reading Program and we wanted to celebrate the accomplishments of all the participants in a big way. The whole community is invited to attend”. The Road Managers with Windstream will utilize the company's brand icon, the vintage 1953 green pickup, Windstream has been hosting family-friendly gatherings with free food, an oversized Plinko game and prizes all summer throughout the 16 states in their service area. The Lifetime Tour will be at Valdez Park directly behind the library on Thursday July 22nd from 10 Am to 2 PM. Cake & ice cream will be provided by Wal-Mart.

In conjunction with the tour, Windstream is launching a dynamic new website, www.lifetimetour.com where consumers can register to win a lifetime of free telephone and high-speed Internet services. One prize will be awarded each month from May through October to consumers living in a Windstream residential area. In addition, people also can vote for one of 30 schools to win $5,000 in our Classroom Connections Spirit Awards contest.  One of those schools is Nob Hill Elementary in Ruidoso New Mexico.
