The Mission of the Dickson County Public Library is to enhance the quality of life for our community by providing open, equal, and free access to information, lifelong learning, knowledge, and ideas.

To fulfill this mission we will provide library materials, programs, information, and technology to support a wide range of community and individual interests. We will provide skilled, dedicated and responsive staff to meet the needs of library users and ensure that library service is convenient to all participating communities. The library will provide service in attractive, welcoming and comfortable facilities and offering training, guidance, and instruction to help library users navigate the information environment.
