Library Patrons
Registration & Loan Information
• Any person living, paying taxes, or working in Laconia may become a borrower by filling out a registration card and presenting current proof of Laconia residency. Children may register upon turning five years of age with a parent or guardian present. A parent/guardian must also be present to register any child up to twelve years of age.
• Student cards are available to non-residents attending any school in Laconia.
• Non-resident cards may be purchased by those who do not meet the above requirements. See a staff member for details.
• Upon registration, borrowers agree to comply with all library rules, promptly pay for lost or damaged materials, and to give immediate notice of a change of address.
• Library cards must be presented whenever materials are borrowed; borrowers are responsible for all materials borrowed on their card.
• Most materials, such as Books, CD's Audio Books and Magazines, circulate for two (2) weeks. Videos circulate for three (3) days.
