Arthur Morey's clear voice and deliberate reading serve well this production of Pope Francis's first book of his Pontificate, which is meant to coincide with the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy. The book is, for the most part, structured as an interview/conversation with Vatican reporter Andrea Tornielli, whose parts are read by Fred Sanders. Using the interview format allows the Pontiff to explicate his views on the mercy of God in depth through the use of personal anecdotes and the exploration of Scripture and the writings of theologians. Verdict As well as this is performed, the final product is somewhat dry overall. Still, there will likely be strong demand.-Michael T.
