Our new 38,000 square foot facility opened in October 2008.  The facility represents a joint effort by the City of Hendersonville, Sumner County, and private donors.  We provide a variety of services and programs for residents of all ages.
Sumner County Library Board sets the policies for Sumner County public libraries.  The SCLB generally meets on the second Wednesday in July, September, November, January, March and May at one of the Sumner County libraries. Board meetings are open to the public. Hendersonville Public Library posts information about upcoming SCLB meetings on the library website.
