It’s May and that can only mean one thing: time for a Plant, Book, & Bake Sale! Join us on Saturday, May 17 for our Library Friends’ annual spring fundraiser. There’ll be plenty of goodies for your yard, your bookshelf, and your tummy! And don’t forget to pick up a tote bag for carrying your books. These beautiful bags feature the winning design from the Friends’ recent poster contest and celebrate The Joy of Reading.
Donations of plants can be dropped off at the Library on Thursday & Friday, 9:30 – 5:30. Baked goods can be dropped off Friday 9:30 – 5:30 and early Saturday 8:30 – 9:30. Thank you to all of the donors and hard workers who support our sale! The money raised funds great things in our Library like our WiFi hotspots, free & discount museum passes, Tumblebooks eBooks for children, year-round programs for all ages and more.
Summer will be here before we know it, and we’ve got six weeks of programs, challenges and activities planned for you. Summer Reading 2025 kicks off on June 25th. Drop in between 5:30 and 7:30 to get your registration packets, tour our activity stations, meet some critters from Furry, Scaly Friends, and check out some books before you enjoy an ice cream on the lawn! Make the Library part of your summer plans and join us for Summer Reading 2025: Explore the Universe!
