One of Windsor: The Untold Story of America's First Witch Hanging

Did you know that the first execution for witchcraft in America took place here in Connecticut?  Colonist Alice Young was hanged for witchcraft in Windsor, Connecticut in 1647.  Author Beth Caruso conducted extensive research into the life of Alice Young while writing her book One of Windsor.  Join her to learn more about the climate of fear and suspicion which gave rise to accusations of witchcraft in Puritan society, and how the trial and execution of Alice Young influenced the hysteria of the Salem witch trials nearly fifty years later.
