BIOGRAPHICAL/HISTORICAL: John Conrad, the second son of Frederick Conrad and Maria Clara Ley Conrad, was a Winchester merchant. He was married to Elizabeth "Betsy" Rutherford, the daughter of Robert Rutherford of Jefferson County, VA. The couple were married in Winchester on June 1, 1786. Conrad’s birthday, date of death, and burial are unknown.
