Bibles Collection, 1693 THL/WFCHS

SCOPE AND CONTENT: This collection contains ten family Bibles, including two written in German, which were printed between 1747-1924 (two of the Bibles, however, have no date). The Bibles contain genealogical material on the  Douglas, Fawcett/Ginn, Miller, Staubb/Hess and Stephenson families. This material has been copied and is located in Box 1.

BIOGRAPHICAL/HISTORICAL: These Bibles were used by Winchester-Frederick County, Virginia families from it earliest period of history and well into the 20th Century.
