Greenya, the author of several books on Washington politics, here focuses on Neil Gorsuch, the newest justice on the U.S. Supreme Court. Greenya is also the coauthor of a book by Justice Gorsuch's mother, Anne Burford, the controversial head of the EPA during the Ronald Reagan administration. In this book, the author explores the judge's life through his nomination and confirmation to the Court. The book details Justice Gorsuch's political and legal influences, including his parents, whose links to the Republican Party led them to Washington for the Reagan administration. Gorsuch's early time in Washington had a profound impact on his political and professional future, and the author traces this influence through the rest of the book. There is little speculation on what kind of justice Gorsuch might be, but this work provides a careful exploration of the judge's legal philosophy.
