
Baby & Me Story Time - Van Buren Public Library
Every Tuesday from 10:30-11:00 am, Ms. Bridgette uses a variety of bouncing rhymes, finger plays, songs, music, and books to create a worthwhile bonding experience at the library for babies up to 2 1/2 years and their caregiver. The month of May kicks off the summer Van Buren Library Books & Movies Show Time with movies made of unforgettable books. The first to be shown Saturday, May 4th, is an Oscar nominated PG-13 movie set in 19th century France. Based on Victor Hugo's classic with Oscar winner, Anne Hathaway, this movie deals with "unrequited love, passion, sacrifice, and redemption". Call Ms. Lily for the title, 474-6045. An art project is planned for the May 7th Homeschool Hour at 1:30 p.m. On May 14 at 1:30 there will be a speaker for Homeschooler Hour.
