AARP Tax-Aide Program

Tax-Aide Program
AARP Tax-Aide is a free service to taxpayers with low and moderate income, with special attention to those 60 and older.

Tax-Aide volunteers are trained to assist with filing the 1040EZ, 1040A, 1040 and the more standard of the schedules, including Schedules A and B. Electronic filing (E-filing) is offered at no charge. E-filing ensures more accurate tax returns and faster processing of tax refunds.

Things to bring with you to your appointment:

1. Last year's tax return.

2. Anything else you need to complete your taxes. (e.g. W-2 forms, 1099 forms, Social Security Card/Number, relevant receipts, etc)

3. VERY IMPORTANT! -- Please bring a completed "Intake Form." You can download and print the Intake Form from the IRS website at: Form 13614-C 'Intake/Interview and Quality Review Sheet

AARP will be providing free tax assistance at the Cleburne Public Library on the following schedule: Please call 817 645-0934 for an appointment time.

Storytime is Wednesday at 10:15 for toddlers (18 to 36 months) and 11:00 for preschoolers (3 to 5 years). Check the calendar for seasonal sessions.
