The North Clay Library/Media Center program supports and strengthens the curriculum, and puts state standards into action. The school librarian directly affects student achievement by collaborating and planning with teachers, teaching information literacy and providing supplemental curriculum material. The school librarian creates a positive  atmosphere that is conducive to learning and loving literature, whether it is reading for learning, reading for pleasure or reading for life.

North Clay LMC provides students access to over 40 magazines and more than 15,000 books. NC/LMC strives to provide students with the newest titles in popular series, such as The Hunger Games, Percy Jackson, and 39 Clues. Students are encouraged to request book titles for future purchase.  Students also have access to Ellison and AccuCut dies which are used to create class projects. In addition North Clay Library hosts a Scholastic Book Fair every spring.
