LET'S BLOOM TOGETHER!

When: April 6, 2015 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM

Come join us for this fun children's event! Children will be introduced to a flower. Then, through a fun and interactive lesson, they will learn how to care for that flower. Finally, they will plant the flower in a terra cotta pot which they decorate and take home. For children ages 3 through 10.

Grumpy Bird presented by American Repertory BalletWhen: Monday, April 20, 2015 - 4:00 PM - 4:45 PM

American Repertory Ballet will present Grumpy Bird, a children's ballet choreographed by Matthew Keefe. This ballet is based on the children's book by Jeremy Tankard and set to music by Mozart. The piece will be performed by members of the ARB Trainee Program, pre-professional dancers training with the company under the direction of Artistic Director Douglas Martin.

Grumpy Bird is the story of a Bird who wakes up feeling grumpy. Too grumpy to eat or play - too grumpy even to fly. "Looks like I'm walking today," says Bird. He walks past Sheep, who offers to keep him company. He walks past Rabbit, who also could use a walk. Raccoon, Beaver, and Fox join in too. Before he knows it, a little exercise and companionship help Bird shake his bad mood.
