All items can be renewed for ## weeks, except DVD’s and magazines. DVD’s and magazines may not be renewed due to limited numbers in the collection. Each item may be renewed three times unless the item is on hold for another patron or you have unpaid fines.
You can now renew your items through My Account! You can get to your account by clicking on the My Account button anywhere on the Library’s web site, or by clicking on the Login button near the top of the screen on any of the catalog pages.
Enter your ##-digit library card number from the back of your library card, and your PIN. Unless you have asked to change your PIN at the Circulation desk, your PIN is the ###. Click on the Submit Request button.
You will now see your account information. Scroll down to the section titled Loans. You will see a list of the titles you have checked out, with a small box to the left of each one. Click in the box next to each title you wish to renew. Then click the
Renew Checked Items button.
When the screen refreshes you will see that the titles you selected have new due dates. Please note: If an item is on Hold for another patron or you have library fines, your renewal request will be denied.
You may also renew an item on or before the due date by taking the item to the circulation desk. In addition, you may renew by phoning the circulation desk during open hours. To renew an item over the phone, call ##### and have your Library Card barcode number ready, as well as the birth date of the borrower. Circulation will then renew the item (unless it’s on hold for another person).
