Kids Read to a Dog

With our Read to a Dog program, children from grades 2 and up can practice reading aloud to some very special listeners. Hesitant readers are paired up with certified (and friendly) therapy animals for a fifteen minute reading session. The animals offer children the engagement of an audience without the fear of judgment.

Friends of the Library Fundraiser - Author Harriet Crawley
