This is a new opportunity to meet and hear local writers reading their work.  Supported by the Arts and Humanities Council of Charlotte County and with the help of the Punta Gorda Library, the Charlotte Harbor Writers will meet on the first Tuesday of every month from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and read their latest works. All those interested in writing, publishing or not are welcome to attend. Just as in Dickens' time when they met in the coffee houses of London, those who wish to can eat lunch together at one of Punta Gorda's wonderful restaurants. For further information call 833.5460.

Read & Feed

Ages 18 & under are invited to join in the Read & Feed Program. Tuesday to Friday at 12:00 p.m.  June 9 - July 31st, 2015.  Come in for a free hot meal, library card, check out materials, enjoy learning centers, sewing, crafts, games, reading incentive rewards and more.   Special activities will be planned throughout the 8 weeks of programming. Every Friday after program... children 0-18 years will be provided with a First Book Give Away while supplies last. Parents must be with children during the program.
