A family in search of a new couch finds one at a rummage shop; the only catch is that a placid, Muppet-like creature won't get off it. The daughter narrates the unpredictable story (at one point the mother tries to remove the creature with a giant plunger) with a delectable nonchalance that works brilliantly with the often hilarious mixed-media art.
