The Body in the Snowdrift

by Katherine Hall Page

School Library Journal : Plagued by school bullies and resentful of his pacifist stepfather, Michael imagines shooting his tormentors with his new hunting rifle. Then a visit with his estranged father, now a white-water rafting guide in Colorado, leaves Michael disillusioned and filled with rage. On the brink of suicide, Michael has a moment of truth in which he throws down his gun and chooses life.
