I've been the director of the Abbeville County Library System since 2002. I love my job and library system, especially our wonderful staff!

When I'm not at work, I'm at home reading or out at a restaurant, since I love to eat but hate to cook. I'm originally from NJ, but now Abbeville is truly home.

I've been working with the Abbeville County Library System since 2005. I enjoy connecting with our patrons and helping them find the items or information that they need.  

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, knitting, and spending time with my family.

From 2008 to 2013, I was a library volunteer here in Abbeville. As a staff member, I am honored to be able to help people enjoy books as much as I do.

My interests, aside from reading and collecting books, include writing fiction, nature photography, attending classical concerts, studying languages, and doing crossword puzzles.

I retired from the USDA Forest Service after 25 years of service, where I worked as a Timbermarker, Recreation Technician, Outdoor Recreation Planner and most recently a Zone Special Use Administrator.

When not working, I enjoy gardening, swimming, embroidering, and most importantly, reading!

I volunteered at the library when I was 15 to see if I would enjoy the career, and now I’m at Lander College with a long-term goal of pursuing a masters in library science!

When I’m not at work, I love reading, playing video games, and drawing.

I have worked at the Abbeville Library for 10 years through Experience Works and Goodwill. I was delighted to join the staff as a part-time employee in October 2017.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my three dogs - Tobasco, Honey Hush, and Pepper.
